Love & Relationships

 - In Nichiren Buddhism -

FREE SEMINAR

Monday, September 28, 2015, Fort York Library, 190 Fort York Blvd., M5V 0E7, 7:00 – 8:00 PM

Come join us as we present ‘Love and Relationships’ the next in a series of free introductory seminars on Nichiren Buddhism. Each seminar will begin with a presentation and follow with an open Q & A.

This seminar will focus on matters of love and relationships. If you’re looking for love or are already in a relationship, you may know that either circumstance can come hand in hand with daunting challenges. From a Buddhist perspective these challenges can be taken as wonderful opportunities to bring about inner change that profoundly benefit one’s own life and positively impact those whom we hold dear whether this refers to simply those close to us, or all humanity.

In the words of Daisaku Ikeda, president of Soka Gakkai International, “If you are going to fall in love, try to make your relationship one that generates great spiritual creativity, one that is mutually enriching.” The seminar on Love and Relationships will aim to identify how we can face such challenges to best effect for all involved and beyond.

Soka Gakkai International (SGI) is a lay Buddhist movement linking more than 12 million people around the world.  SGI practitioners aim to create value in any circumstances and contribute to the well-being of others. Their practice sparks a process of ongoing inner transformation and empowerment known as "human revolution." The promotion of peace, culture and education is central to SGI's activities.
