We all have many relationships: our families, our friends, classmates, professors, TAs, housemates, and with our significant other. We may have many friends in facebook and can't spare a day without checking friends' updates.

While various relationships are usually wonderful and fullfilling, we may also often be brought down when relationships are under strained. How should we handle various problems with people around us ? When we felt our parents never understand us, when good friendship fades, or we're in endless arguments with our boyfriends or girlfriends. We may have many friends in our facebook account, but how many we feel will stand by us when we're in trouble?

Would you tends to blame yourselves when things go wrong, thinking you don't deserved to be loved or cared, or do you tends to blame others for their wrongdoings ?

Are there efficient ways to handle relationships, be skillful in networking with people, to get truly great friends?

Here in this meeting, we'll explore the many great wisdoms and insights in buddhism, in understanding our relationships with people, and ways for building truly wonderful genuine relationships.

Quotes

People around us reflect the state of our own lives. The environment that we are in, whether favorable or not, is the product of our own life. When we fail to understand this, we tend to blame others for our troubles.

A person who respects others is respected by others in return. Those who treat others with compassion and concern are protected and supported by others. Our environment is essentially a reflection of ourselves.

From Daisaku Ikeda, President of Soka Gakkai International (SGI)
